The EnergySmart Program provides audits, technical assistance, and incentives to business owners and facility managers who wish to purchase and install energy efficient refrigeration and lighting systems. The Program is funded by Avista Utilities. At no time is there an obligation to purchase any full-fee service or other services not funded by this Program. Contractors and subcontractors shall not be obligated to pay any fees, including training, material or equipment fees, to participate in the Program.

The Program provides valuable efficiency resources to its customers including:

• Energy audits
• Technical consultation
• Incentives for efficiency upgrades
• Contractor coordination
• Technical reviews on projects

EnergySmart offers incentives for a menu of efficiency retrofits. Throughout the retrofit process, Program staff will provide support and ensure success. The Program runs through June, 2010. More information is available by calling the Program directly at 1.800.230.9420.
